Hello,

I am wondering if IqFeed time stamps take into account US daylight saving time, as US markets open at 9:30am EST during the autumn/winter but at 9:30am EDT/8:30am EST during the spring/summer.

So I am wondering if:

1. the IqFeed 9:30am time stamp is the opening time for US markets all year long?

2. time stamps are always EST, therefore I need to take take 9:30am during the autumn/winter, and 8:30am during the spring/summer?

Thanks

Hello,

Didn't want to start a new thread for a fairly related question.

when requesting historical data during a time of daylight savings, is the historical data adjusted too?

if yes is the adjustment for the whole length of request or does it "cut in and out|" at the dls times?

EG in a 180 historical day request say daylight savings changed 10 days ago would the whole 180 days be adjusted or only the part from 10 days on-wards.

Cheers
Jon

No. The status of Daylight Savings Time is whatever it was at the time of the data.
