As far as I know, IQFeed does not provide historical ticks data (beyond 6 months). Are there any plans to provide these ? I think it would be very helpful for many. Even if they charge an extra fees for this, this is very helpful.

We are looking into expanding the tick history, but it won’t happen until sometime next year at the soonest. It will require a large investment in storage and band width, an 8 day E-mini tick file is around 200 meg. But it is being looked into. Sorry we don’t have any estimates at to when it will be available.

I think , if you expanding the ticks history , i mean years of ticks history, all traders will subscribe your service.
you can make to pay this additional service for each year of history , i hope doesn't too expensive ^_^
