Version 4.6.0.7 of IQFeed has been released and is available for free upgrade at www.iqfeed.net for download (click Download Client).

This version further increases the speed and efficiency of IQFeed by reducing CPU usage and adding compression to the streaming quote feed. Other enhancements include the addition of NAICS codes and the short interest data field for stocks. Additional functionality makes it easier to perform symbol lookups through the API and provides tools to pull symbol lists by industry classification codes (either NAICS or SIC).
