"If you are serious about your trading I would not rely on IB data for serious daytrading. Took me a while to justify the cost of IQ Feed and in the end, it's just a 2 point stop on ES. Better safe than sorry" - Comment from Public Forum
"I noticed that ******* quotes locked up shortly after the interest rate announcement yesterday while yours stayed stable." - Comment from Ron in Utah

I was able to download the API docs last week and I was able to replicate Interactive Brokers historical bar queries and realtime bar queries over the weekend. That was about one of the fastest integrations that I've ever done and it works perfectly!!!!" - Comment from Jason via Email

There are duplicate symbols for SYDI in the satellite datafeed.

Indexes : SYDI - Sydney All Ordinaries
NASDAQ : SYDI - Syndication Inc.

I first noticed the duplicate symbols on Wed, March 8, 2006.

I don't know if the specs for the feed allow duplicate symbols across different databases, but this is the first one I've ntoiced over the last year or so that I've been using the satellite datafedd.

There is no guarantee of unique symbology on the Satellite feed. You will see this most often between indexes and stocks. This is the reason why many feeds will convert index symbols to a unique symbology, such as our own DTN.IQ using symbol.X for index symbols. On CBOE Indexes, there can be other symbol contention, so we chose to use symbol.XO for CBOE Index on our IQ platform.
