"I will tell others who want to go into trading that DTN ProphetX is an invaluable tool, I don't think anyone can trade without it..." - Comment from Luther
"I started a trial a few weeks back before the market went wild. DTN.IQ didn’t miss anything and beat my other provider. I decided to stay with you because of the great service through all the volatility." - Comment from Mike
"I ran your IQFeed DDE vs. my broker vs. a level II window for some slow-moving options. I would see the level II quote change, then your feed update instantaneously. My broker's DDE, however, would take as much as 30 seconds to update. I am not chasing milliseconds, but half a minute is unacceptable." - Comment from Rob
"DTN feed was the only feed that consistently matched Bloomberg feed for BID/ASK data verification work these past years......DTN feed is a must for my supply & demand based trading using Cumulative Delta" - Comment from Public Forum Post
"I've never had DTN go out on me since switching. ******* would go down a couple times every month when I was using them." - Comment from Bryce in AL.
"This is an excellent value, the system is generous (allowing for 500 stocks) and stable (and really is tick-by-tick), and the support is fantastic." - Comment from Shirin via Email
"If someone needs the best quality data and backfill beyond what their broker provides at a rate that is the best in the industry, I highly recommend IQFeed." - Comment from Josh via Public Forum
"I used to have *******, but they are way more money for the same thing. I have had no probs with data from DTN since switching over." - Comment from Public Forum Post
"I "bracket trade" all major news releases and I have not found one lag or glitch with DTN.IQ feed. I am very comfortable with their feed under all typical news conditions (Fed releases, employment numbers, etc)." - Comment from Public Forum

IQFeed Developer Support » Historical Data Download Slow May 16, 2014 03:19 PM (Total replies: 1)

I have noticed slow download speeds for historical data the last two days. Is there an issue on IQFeed's end? If not I'll double check all my systems.

Thanks

Brook

IQFeed Developer Support » EOD Historical Dividend Adjustments May 16, 2014 03:16 PM (Total replies: 41)

jonnyb,

I have been dealing with this issue for several years. What I did to clean everything up is use Yahoo to download all daily data up to a certain point. Then on each day afterwards I download the close from IQFeed and maintain a db of dividends, splits and reorgs. Its a pain but the only way to be 100% accurate I think. Otherwise IQFeed intraday data is all non-adjusted so you could pick an intraday point for your historical analysis. You should still be able to download data from Yahoo. If you have trouble I have some C# code that does it.

IQFeed Developer Support » New Product - News Reader Mar 30, 2014 09:35 PM (Total replies: 2)

Historically I have used IQFeed for trading purposes but I have recently developed a News Reader that I want to market. What is the best way to start? Does someone at DTN test it first?

Thanks,

Brook
